Topic: "Infusing Cultural Humility into Your Coaching Practice"
Join Dr. Arloski and Rikkisha Gilmore-Byrd as they explore Cultural Humility and its impact on Health Coaching.
This presentation explores how coaches can embed cultural humility into their daily practice to build trust, reduce bias, and serve clients more effectively across lines of difference. Participants will
learn the distinction between cultural competence and cultural humility, examine their own identities and blind spots using the BATS™ framework (Biased Automatic Thoughts), and walk away with concrete
strategies for creating psychologically safe spaces where clients feel truly seen. Whether working in health, wellness, leadership, or life coaching, cultural humility is the foundational skill that transforms
good coaching into equitable, unique, client-centered coaching.
