Jennifer Bleck PhD., MPH, NBC-HWC
Dr. Bleck is
an Assistant Professor at the College of Public Health. She teaches both undergraduate and graduate courses in Health & Wellness Coaching. Dr. Bleck is also a certified and active Health & Wellness coach. With respect to research, Dr. Bleck's interests include adolescent and college student health, co-occurring mental and physical health disorders, specifically ADHD with obesity and disordered eating behaviors, and sleep health. Her previous research has focused on intimate partner violence, physical activity, obesity prevention, and adolescent and young adult cancer survivors.
Dr. Bleck is also the Associate Director of Support Services in Health & Wellness in the Office of Student Success. As Associate Director of Support Services, Dr. Bleck oversees the University’s Success & Wellness Coaching Program, Satellite Wellness Centers, Relaxation Stations, Health & Wellness Marketing, and Program Evaluation. In this role, she works with her team to provide a wide range of services directly to USF students to promote overall health & wellbeing as well as academic and personal success. We are also very pleased that Rita is also a Real Balance trainer within USF and brings our Wellness & Health Coach Certification to the USF student community.

Dr. Rita DeBate is a Professor in the College of Public Health at the University of South Florida. Dr. DeBate is the Editor-in-Chief of Health Behavior Research, is past President of the American Academy of Health Behavior, a Fellow of the American Academy of Health Behavior and Fellow of the Academy of Eating Disorders.
Mary Bitterauf is a program manager with Maine’s largest healthcare system, MaineHealth, which heads 12 community hospitals and has 22,000 employees. Under the auspices of the Employee Wellness and Education & Training Program, she is responsible for the development of health and wellness coaching and mindfulness programing across the system. In addition to teaching, she provides professional training and consultation to healthcare providers and the communities they serve. We are pleased to say that Mary is also a Real Balance trainer within MaineHealth and we are pleased to have her support as a faculty for the northeast part of the country.
