Ingredients

  • 1 Whole wheat - high fiber pita bread pocket 
  • 1 large ripe tomato
  • Roasted Red Peppers sliced(fresh may be used0
  • Onion diced
  • Mushrooms sliced
  • Mozarella cheese grated (to taste0
  • DiGiorno shredded three cheese (Parmesan,Romano, Asiago)
Cook mushrooms, onions, or fresh peppers (roasted peppers do not need cooking) until tender. Place Pita Bread on a lightly oil cookie sheet. Lightly dustPita bread with the three cheese mixture. Next add a layer of sliced tomatoes. Next layer your peppers, onions, and mushrooms. Sprinkle with Italian herbs (garlic, oregeno, basil) add grated Moserella cheese + a bit more of the three cheese mixture and bake in a pre-heated oven (375) until cheese is melted and lightly browned.
